Mark Graeme HUMPHREYMark joined the Department of Chemistry at the ANU in 1994 from the University of New England, taking up the latter position after postdoctoral research at Wurzburg and Illinois. A graduate of the University of Adelaide (PhD 1987, DSc 2003), he has been awarded Alexander von Humboldt, CNRS, Gritton, Telecom Research Laboratories, Japan Science and Technology Agency, and ARC Australian Research Fellowships, and was the recipient of the inaugural RACI Organometallic Chemistry Award, the inaugural Australian nominee for the RSC/RACI Exchange Lectureship and corecipient of the David Syme Prize for research in the physical sciences. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Chemistry, ANU and holds an ARC Australian Professorial Research Fellowship, and holds Professorships at Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu University, China, and a Visiting Fellowship at the Laser Physics Centre, ANU.
