Photophysical Chemistry of Materials

Light is a source of energy capable of triggering chemical reactions and find application in various fields. Thanks to the spatial and temporal character of light, a range of parameters such as emission wavelength, light intensity, exposure time, and pulse length can be adjusted precisely to control reaction processes. Our research mainly focuses on the interaction between light and chemicals and its application in materials sciences. We also investigate the relevant photophysical chemistry in the processes which can be theoretical guidance for the optimization design of high-performance systems.
