The 3D structure of the 30 kDa complex formed between the E. coli proteins epsilon and theta with the small ligand thymidine was determined. One-dimensional NMR spectra recorded of the thymidine yielded sufficient structure restraints to provide an accurate structure of the complex that is closely similar to the structure determined by X-ray crystallography.
