In collaboration with biologists at the ANU we are exploring the chemistry involved with the sexually deceptive orchids typified by members of the genus Chiloglottis and their unwitting, but willing, wasp pollinators. Another area of interest involves the chemical ecology associated with carp (Cyprinus carpio) chemo-attraction. Here we are attempting to identify chemicals which can influence carp aggregation behaviour.
