Edith Sevick graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S.E. and received her PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
She has since held positions at the University of Cambridge (1989-1990), the University of California (1990-1992), the University of Colorado (1992-1996), where she was awarded an NSF Careers Award, before being appointed Fellow at the Research School of Chemistry.
She has been appointed Associate Professor at the Research School of Chemistry.
