Chirality is prevalent in nature, manifesting in particles, molecules, and complex systems. While chirality of a singular structure can be readily characterised, population chirality from diverse structural collectives is difficult to interpret but important for understanding systems energy logic. Here confined proton transfer, in a small molecule proton shuttle, is shown to direct cognate chemical pathways for selective chirality propagation, with independence from the original sense of individual chirality and higher propagation coherence as judged by autocatalytic amplification. This suggests pathways for building composite chirality in a collective, organised by proton transfer from protic chiral individualities and achiral acids.
