Over the past two decades, Damien Perriman has participated in the commercialization of technologies that have spanned first-of-a-kind manufacturing facilities, renewable textiles, biobased plastics, sustainable fuels, health and beauty ingredients, and emerging biotechnology platforms, offering a unique perspective on how sustainable innovations move from concept to commercial reality.

Biography

Damien Perriman is a global executive with over 25 years of experience in the commercialization of renewable materials and chemicals. In his current roles as Chief Commercial Officer at eXoZymes and Chairman of the Board at Cellugy, Mr. Perriman has demonstrated a consistent ability to advance pioneering sustainable technologies from concept to market implementation. His previous positions include Chief Business Officer at Gevo, where he led the launch of a low-carbon racing fuel, and Senior Vice President at Genomatica, overseeing the introduction of award-winning biobased ingredients. Mr. Perriman's career encompasses service within government, major multinational corporations, and innovative start-ups, providing him with a unique perspective on market-driven innovation and technology commercialization. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Industrial Chemistry from the University of New South Wales.
