Congratulations to Associate Professor Malcolm McLeod who was a recipient of an ARC Linkage grant for $425,000 over 3 years. The project will develop strategies to detect designer steroids in racing greyhounds and will be supplemented by $151,200 cash and $645,000 in kind from the industry partners Greyhounds Australasia, Queensland Government Racing Science Centre, and Racing Analytical Services Limited.

During the announcement of the funding Associate Professor Malcolm McLeod gave a short talk about their work and the project. In attendance were the Minister for Education and Training Senator the Hon. Simon Birmingham and Prof Aidan Byrne CEO of the ARC.
