Abstract
This talk will highlight some of the (unexpected) scientific discoveries and personal realisations that have characterised my academic career and life at the RSC. Aimed particularly at early-career researchers, I will share a few stories which illustrate how key events and experiences—both planned and unplanned—shaped the broader trajectory of the group’s research program.
