Dr. Thrinathreddy Ramireddy is a Research Fellow in the Research School of Chemistry.

Dr. Thrinathreddy Ramireddy received his Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, India, in 2010. He received his PhD in (Materials for Energy Storage) Engineering from Deakin University, Australia, in December 2015. He joined as a Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and worked with Professor Amartya Mukhopadhyay for 15 months until Aug 2017. Dr. Ramireddy worked as a project scientist at the Centre for Automotive Energy Materials division in International Centre for Advanced Research on Powder Metallurgy and New Materials from August 2017 to June 2019. Dr. Ramireddy’s research interests are developing/tailoring materials for electrochemical energy storage applications, especially batteries (metal-ion and dual-ion) and metal-ion hybrid capacitors.
