About

Metallopeptides are promising next-generation diagnostics and therapeutics with broad potential in oncology and beyond. However, the discovery of peptides that simultaneously bind a biological target and a metal remains challenging. We have developed a phage-display platform that can identify bismuth-binding peptides for virtually any target in a single discovery engine. This project will create next-generation metallopeptide libraries and screening technologies that integrate metal coordination into molecular evolution, establishing a platform for the rapid discovery of functional metallopeptides.
