The last Science in the Pub was a year ago, as we celebrated International Women’s Day with lockdown looming. What a year it’s been – but we’re now ready to get up on stage again – get involved! Come and hear six amazing local scientists sharing their research in short, creative talks.
If you are interested in presenting: You’ve got eight minutes, and anything goes: music, poetry, cupcake juggling, or just a straight down the line powerpoint talk. It’s a friendly crowd who just want to hear the great work that you’ve been up to. There are two training sessions too, (Content & Delivery) to help you prepare.
Last year we featured: How to Bake a Baby Star, Ancient Possums and the amazing 6-year-old Addy rapping about quarks.
Hosted by Dr Phil Dooley (Phil Up On Science and Dramatis Scientificae) and sponsored by the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Canberra. Audience numbers limited so you MUST register to attend.
