The RSC celebrated its 50th anniversary with the unveiling of a special sculpture which now hangs in our main foyer. Titled 'Translation', it was created by Dr Julie Brooke from the ANU School of Art & Design and sculptor Geoff Farquhar-Still. The work is an abstract rendition of the many aspects of modern chemistry.

As part of the 2018 National Reconciliation Week celebrations, the Research School of Chemistry hosted a Heritage Walk and we were joined by Ngunawal Elder Wally Bell. Wally gave us some fantastic insights into Aboriginal Culture and Heritage.
