A/ Prof. Nick Cox

PhD (ANU), BSc (ANU)
Associate Professor

Dr Nick Cox is former Group Leader in the Department of Biophysics at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion (MPI-CEC). He is an ARC Future Fellow and new member of the Research school of Chemistry RSC.

Research interests

Our research is focused on the study of biological enzymes and synthetic catalysts using both magneto-optical spectroscopy and magnetic resonance techniques, specifically Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) to transition metal cofactors and more recently, EPR as applied to new synthetic enzymes and heterogeneous catalysts.
